Student and Alumni Networking Event (SANE)

The Rehabilitation Sciences Graduate Students’ Union (RSGSU) Mentorship Committee will be hosting a special networking event: Student and Alumni Networking Event (SANE). The event is scheduled to take place virtually on Thursday March 25th, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM on Gather.

A primary goal of this event is to provide rehabilitation sciences graduate students with a comfortable and relaxed environment in which to explore some of the different career opportunities available after graduation. Further, this will give alumni an opportunity to learn about some of the activities in rehabilitation sciences at University of Toronto and to connect with up and coming graduates/colleagues in the field.

This event will feature selected alumni currently working in a variety of job sectors and industries. For the first portion of the evening, students will be assigned to small groups and will rotate through round table sessions with various alumni (virtually). Alumni profiles will be made available prior to the event. The latter part of the event will include open networking time.

The Mentorship Committee aims to create a supportive and collaborative RSI student experience that provides an opportunity for personal and professional development.
