Admission Requirements
Candidates for the MSc degree must hold a four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of an average of B+ in senior level courses during the final two years of study. Applicants are expected to have a strong undergraduate science background, including at least one course in research design and/or statistics.
Typical undergraduate degrees include life sciences, basic sciences, kinesiology/physical & health education, psychology, cognitive science, nursing, and other health-related or related social science disciplines. Prior research experience is recommended but not required. Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of written and verbal proficiency in English.
Candidates for the PhD program must hold a master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum A- average. Exceptional undergraduate students may apply for a Direct entry PhD; however, a strong support from the supervisor and references are required for the application to be successful. All applicants to the PhD program must demonstrate prior research experience through publications and/or presentations. Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language proficiency in both written and verbal communication is required.
