Eric is a practicing physiotherapist employed by the federal public service since 2005 and has been Adjunct faculty with the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto since 2008.  He is the Exercise Science Theme Lead for the MScPT program & a clinical instructional assistant in Units 1 & 2.  Eric completed his Honours BA in Kinesiology & Health Science at York University, his MScPT and PhD at the University of Toronto.  In 2020 he successfully completed the certification requirements for the ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) designation.

Research Synopsis

Eric’s research interests include facilitating evidence informed practice in the prevention and management of musculoskeletal injuries in Canadian Armed Forces members. His current research is funded by Defence Research & Development Canada & the Surgeon General’s Health Research Program.
