Dr. MacDonald is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist with an inpatient and outpatient stroke rehabilitation medicine practice. In addition to her clinical work, she is a Stroke Distinction Surveyor with Accreditation Canada and co-chairs committees for the Toronto Stroke Networks. Although health services research is her primary interest, she also participates as a Qualified Investigator for select multi-site randomized controlled trials run through the CanStroke Recovery Platform. She is an adjunct scientist at ICES.
