Celebrating Award-Winning Research: RSI Faculty Honoured at the 2015 Research Awards Reception

RSI Director, Dr. Angela Colantonio is being honoured this week among other award-winning researchers on the Faculty of Medicine website!

Colantonio was recognized for her investigated acquired brain injuries among vulnerable people, including criminalized populations and her findings into training and educational outreach like the research-inspired play “After the Crash: A Play About Brain Injury.”

The feature is in part of celebrating award-winning research at the Faculty of Medicines’ 2015 Research Awards Reception. Hosted by Young and Professor Alison Buchan, Vice Dean, Research and Innovation, the event highlighted the work of 84 award-winning researchers, who won a total of 108 major national and international honours and awards. Among them, the prestigious Canada Gairdner Wightman Award, the Paul Marks Prize for Cancer Research and the Order of Canada.
