In celebration of International Women's Day & Brain Week, the first event discussed Women and Brain Health and featured talks from Dr. Gillian Einstein, a distinguished U of T professor and researcher studying role of sex and gender in brain health & aging, as well as two RSI alumna: Melissa Biscardi and Reema Shafi.
Discussions ranged from the relationship between sex, gender, and women’s brain health, the vulnerability of women’s brain after concussions, to the endocrine reproductive health outcomes of women after brain injury.
