Elissa is a PhD student in Speech-Language Pathology, supervised by Dr. Rosemary Martino. She is a practicing speech-language pathologist and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Western University, and her Master’s Degree from Macquarie University. Elissa's dissertation research focuses on the burden of dysphagia experienced by patients with head and neck cancer treated with radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy.
