The student will apply to complete graduate studies at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, University of Toronto (Application deadline: February 1st 2016). Research will take place at Sunnybrook Research Institute, part of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a University of Toronto teaching hospital. The student will have access to a 3T Siemens Prisma MRI scanner, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation.
Dr. Chen is part of the Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery (CPSR). The candidate will have the opportunity to learn about stroke research and participate in weekly CPSR meetings, among many other seminar series offered at Sunnybrook and the University of Toronto.
We are looking for candidates with a relevant scientific background (e.g. neuroscience, psychology, rehabilitation, kinesiology).
