Discover Your Future in Rehabilitation Science

Are you ready to launch a research career in one of the world’s leading academic institutions for rehabilitation science? The Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI) at the University of Toronto invites you to join our virtual Information & Recruitment Sessions, held twice a year, approximately three months before each admissions deadline.

These sessions are designed to help prospective students learn about our research-based MSc and PhD programs, explore potential areas of research foci, and connect directly with supervisors across RSI’s diverse network of researchers, hospitals, and academic partners.

What to Expect

Each session begins with a 40-minute program overview, where attendees will:

  • Learn about RSI’s interdisciplinary graduate programs (MSc and PhD)

  • Hear about the admissions and selection process

  • Gain insights into student life and research opportunities within the RSI community

After the main presentation, attendees will take part in the Student & Scientist Coffee Chat, an opportunity to join breakout rooms and connect directly with RSI faculty who are actively recruiting funded graduate students for the upcoming academic year.

In these breakout rooms, you’ll:

  • Meet potential supervisors and hear about their current research

  • Ask questions about supervision and research fit

  • Get a sense of RSI’s collaborative and supportive environment

Whether you’re exploring graduate studies for the first time or preparing your application, this session will help you take the next step toward a rewarding career in rehabilitation science.

International Applicants: Q&A Session

If you’re applying from outside Canada, we encourage you to join our International Student Q&A which takes place 30 minutes before the main session.
This informal discussion offers an opportunity to:

  • Learn about study permits, funding, and student life in Toronto
