The Leadership Rehab Rounds (LRR) is a Rehab Sector* initiative that brings together students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty and invited external experts to share detailed information about their completed projects, comprehensive research programs and current events topical for rehabilitation science.

TITLE: "Serving Those Who Served: The Need for Military and Veteran Cultural Competency in Health Care"

Each Leadership Rehab Rounds will consist of a maximum 40 minute talk, a 10 minute scientific question period and transition to an open-ended social allowing students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty and external experts to carry forward the conversation. Presenters will range from senior students and postdoctoral researchers presenting results of completed projects and faculty presenting completed projects, program overviews, or topical commentaries and tutorials. Senior faculty presenters, including invited experts, are strongly encouraged to come prepared to share the successes and challenges of their professional journey with students, postdoctoral researchers and junior faculty.
The goals of the Leadership Rehab Rounds are to:
- Foster greater breadth and depth of interdisciplinary knowledge in the rehabilitation and related sciences,
- Meet curricular needs of RSI students;
- Promote collegial, critical scientific inquiry,
- Foster internal and external collaborative relationships and of course
- Have fun!
